New England Excess Exchange, Ltd. (NEEE), an independent wholesale broker and MGA based in Barre, VT recently contributed 1,938 pounds of food to local food banks as a result of its annual Thanksgiving gratitude campaign. This is the second year NEEE has made the contribution.

"Food insecurity is a nationwide concern," says Christal Fleishman, Marketing Manager at NEEE. "This campaign is an opportunity to support food banks when demand for donations is most frequent."

The 2019 campaign was launched via email and one dollar was donated, to a local food bank, on behalf of every Agent that does business with NEEE. The total donation provided more than 480 Thanksgiving dinners to families throughout New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Ohio.

"Part of our corporate mission is to uplift the communities in which we do business," says Goober Schaarschmidt, President of NEEE. "Our Thanksgiving campaign is one way we can give back to our valued Agents, and their neighbors, through service."

The annual gratitude campaign is one of many service events NEEE conducts throughout the year.
