New England Excess Exchange, Ltd. (NEEE), an independent wholesale broker and MGA based in Barre, VT recently contributed 3,218 pounds of food to local food banks as a result of its annual Thanksgiving gratitude campaign.

"We understand Agents are deeply rooted in their communities," says Goober Schaarschmidt, President of NEEE. "Our gratitude campaign is one way we can give back to our Agency partners through service."

The annual campaign was launched via email and one dollar was donated, on behalf of every NEEE Agent, to a local food bank. The total donation provided more than 400 Thanksgiving dinners to families throughout New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Ohio.

"We recognize there is need in every neighborhood," says Christal Fleishman, Marketing Manager at NEEE. "This campaign is an opportunity to reduce food insecurity and support food banks when the demand for donations is high."

The annual gratitude campaign is one of many service events NEEE conducts throughout the year. Learn more about NEEE by visiting www.neee.com
