New England Excess Exchange, Ltd. (NEEE), an independent wholesale broker and MGA based in Barre, VT, recently contributed 1,749 pounds or 1,487 meals to local food banks as a result of its annual Thanksgiving gratitude campaign. This is the fourth year NEEE has contributed.
"Our local food banks continue to see an increased need in 2021," says Christal Fleishman, Director of Marketing. "We're grateful for the opportunity to give back to these vital community organizations."
The 2021campaign was launched via email, and one dollar was donated, to a local food bank, on behalf of every agent that does business with NEEE. The total donation provided more than 495 Thanksgiving dinners to families throughout our region.
"We want to act when our neighbors are in need," says Todd Wood, President of NEEE. "Our Thanksgiving campaign is an annual promise to commit to serving others, which is core to the values of our organization."
We are pleased to make this donation possible through the following foodbanks: Vermont Foodbank, New Hampshire Food Bank, Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine, Connecticut Food Bank, Rhode Island Community Food Bank, Feeding New York State, The Greater Boston Food Bank, Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, Ohio Association of Food Banks and the Maryland Food Bank.
The annual gratitude campaign is one of many service events NEEE conducts throughout the year. Learn more about our corporate mission and core values at https://neee.com/about.
